UMANG App Guide:
Access DL, RC & eChallans

The ultimate guide to the Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance. Keep all your central, state, and local transport compliance documents securely in one place.

Unified Transport Access inside UMANG

Developed by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), UMANG is a key pillar of Digital India. Instead of installing separate apps for EPF, PAN, Digilocker, and Parivahan, UMANG houses over 20,000+ central and state services in one high-security portal.

DigiLocker Integration

Directly pull and verify your digitally signed Driving License and Vehicle RC documents onto your dashboard seamlessly.

Vahan Services

Check vehicle tax records, view registration status, and verify ownership particulars without logging into the desktop portal.

Sarathi Portal Services

Access learner DL prep materials, check permanent driving license records, or track the status of renewals on the move.

Traffic Fines (eChallan)

Stay informed about state and city traffic fine alerts. Enter challan receipt details to pay directly through UPI or NetBanking.

UMANG vs mParivahan

Not sure which to use? mParivahan is dedicated purely to transport services and offers better RC/DL offline mocks. UMANG is best if you want an all-in-one app that also stores your Aadhaar, EPF, and PAN cards.
