Corrections & Updates Policy

Because rules change, and accuracy matters most.

Last Updated: May 29, 2026

1. Our Promise to You

In India, traffic laws, RTO fees, and MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) portals update frequently. While our Expert Editorial Board works hard to keep every guide 100% accurate, occasional outdated information or human errors can slip through. We believe in total transparency. When we make a mistake, we own it and fix it immediately.

2. How to Report an Error

Did you find a broken link, an old fee structure, or a step that no longer matches the official Parivahan website? We want to hear from you!

Email our Editorial Desk: editorial@parivahanbharat.com

Tip: Please include the URL of the page and a brief description of what needs fixing. Screenshots are highly appreciated!

3. How Fast Do We Fix It?

Time is crucial when you are trying to pay an eChallan or renew a Driving Licence. We guarantee the following response times for corrections:

Critical Errors (Wrong portal links, incorrect fee amounts, misleading steps) — Fixed within 24 Hours.
Minor Errors (Typos, formatting issues, broken images) — Fixed within 48-72 Hours.

4. Notifying Users of Major Changes

When the Government of India rolls out a massive update (e.g., the transition to the new Sarathi 4.0 portal or nationwide changes in traffic fines), we don't just quietly change the text. We actively inform our users through:

Editor's Notes: We add prominent, brightly colored "Important Update" banners at the very top of affected articles.
Regulatory Changelog: We maintain a site-wide tracker documenting exactly when and how rules were updated by MoRTH.
Date Stamps: We immediately refresh the "Last Updated" timestamp on the article to reflect the exact date the new information was verified.
